A wall-mounted EV charger is faster, safer and more convenient than charging from a standard powerpoint. The right setup depends on your car, your switchboard, whether you have single or three-phase power, and whether you want to make use of solar.
We assess all of that before quoting, so the charger you get works with your home's supply and your switchboard has room for it.

What size EV charger do I need?
Most homes on single-phase power suit a 7kW wall charger, which can charge most EVs overnight. Homes with three-phase power can go higher if the car supports it. We'll check what your car and supply can handle.
Can I just charge from a normal powerpoint?
You can, using the portable charger that comes with many EVs, but it is much slower. A dedicated wall charger is faster and designed for daily use.
Will my switchboard need an upgrade?
Sometimes. Older boards may not have the space or capacity for a charger circuit. We check this first and quote any switchboard work at the same time.
Can you install chargers in apartments or workplaces?
Yes. Apartments usually need body corporate approval first. We can install workplace and multi-bay charging too.
