Who we are
Earthwire Electrical (ABN 33 429 612 509) is an electrical contractor based in West End, Brisbane. In this policy, "we" and "us" means Earthwire Electrical. You can contact us about privacy at dave@earthwire.au or on 0420 496 210.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote and do your job. That usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the job address, a description of the work, and any photos you send. If you call, text or email us, we keep the details you give us then too.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, book and carry out the work, send invoices, keep job and compliance records, and meet our legal obligations, such as electrical safety and tax record-keeping. We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to a marketing list.
Who we share it with
Enquiries sent through our website form go into Fergus, the job management software we use to manage quotes, jobs and invoices. Fergus stores that information on our behalf. We only share details with others when it's needed to complete your job, for example a supplier, a subcontractor or Energex for a supply connection, or when the law requires it.
Our website
Our website doesn't set its own tracking cookies. Some parts of it are provided by other companies, including the enquiry form (Fergus), the Google reviews display (Trustindex) and our fonts (Fontshare). These services may collect basic technical information, such as your browser type, under their own privacy policies.
Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and only keep it for as long as we need it for the job and our record-keeping obligations. Some of the software we use may store information on servers outside Australia.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing dave@earthwire.au.
